Your files never leave your device

Most online file converters upload your document to their servers, convert it there, and then (they say) delete it. FileFlip doesn't work that way — there's nothing to delete, because your file never arrives on a server in the first place.

How this actually works

Every conversion tool on FileFlip runs as JavaScript inside your own browser tab. When you merge a PDF, resize a photo, or convert a HEIC file, the processing happens on your device's own processor — the same way a spreadsheet app or photo editor works locally. FileFlip's server is never sent the contents of your file, so it's technically impossible for us to see, store, scan, or use it for anything — including AI training, analytics, or sharing with third parties. We simply never have it.

What we do store

To be fully transparent, here's everything FileFlip does keep:

• If you create an account: your email address and a securely hashed password. We never store your password itself.
• Whether your account has an active FileFlip Plus or Pro subscription, linked to your email via our payment provider (Whop).
• A daily conversion count, used only to enforce your plan's daily limit, stored in a signed cookie on your own device.

None of the above ever includes a file name, file content, or anything about what you converted.

Payments

FileFlip Plus and Pro payments are handled entirely by Whop, including VAT. FileFlip never sees or stores your card details.
